Business Retention Program

More than ever before, a sound business retention program gives a head start in helping companies to endure, grow and thrive. By pro-actively building strong relationships with business owners, business retention programs provide the foundation for strategically allocating resources to companies that want to enhance their workforce, adopt new technologies, increase profitability and compete in the present day economy.

Our business retention study gathers and evaluates data to help organizations compete both locally and globally.  By better understanding issues that are important to business owners and operators, SVEDF can partner with the City of Sierra Vista and State of Arizona to facilitate much needed pro-business policies and resources.

 Objectives

1) Identify specific problems that can be addressed by City and State officials.

2) Develops strategies and actions to support growth in local employment.

3) Pinpoint economic deficiencies in order to facilitate pro-business policies and resources.

4) Educate business owners on available resources through various programs.

5) Improve local business profitability and growth.

Business Retention Survey

The purpose of the survey is to learn more about businesses in Cochise County and in what ways the SVEDF, City and Chamber of Commerce can best support those existing businesses. In addition to learning information that will help in planning programs and services for area businesses, your responses will enable us to identify ways in which we can support your specific business. This survey is being conducted as part of a SVEDF business expansion and retention program.
